I think it is an artist’s mission to push at the edges of the box. To show people that they don’t necessarily want to see or didn’t know, to try new things.

"I’m trying to find the magical, lyrical and sublime, to find the exuberant joy of creating. I always knew I was an Artist, but needing to support myself. I became a Marine and went to Saudi Arabia to fight in the 1st Gulf War. When I had my daughter I decide not to reenlist but to stay at home with her. Two more children later I decided that it was now or never and to do what I was always meant to do. I have used some of my Marine Corps training in my art “No Guts No Glory”
